INTRO FASHION SHOW
Dynamic, innovative and bold. The INTRO 2021 Fashion show was a combination of artistic minds put together in order to create a creative and COVID-19 safe fashion show. Spanning over 8 months, as the motion designer, marketing and design lead, co-videographer and co-editor, this project was incredibly complex and took a lot of work and planning. When the project first began in September, I was in the role of the marketing and design lead where I was was charged with making promotional materials including designing posters, and creating videos, while also running the Instagram account, creating posts, reels and stories to keep our viewers engaged. As the process progressed, and COVID-19 cases presented some challenges, our team pivoted and decided on a video fashion show, using the city’s subway stations as the backdrop. From here, I took on a larger role in being a videographer on set and helping plan out all the logistics for the 3 day shoot. This included searching for potential subway locations, figuring out timings for the models to come on set, and finding a solution for where the models could change into their various garments. Once the shoot was over, I transitioned into the role of editor putting the clips together and making our narrative come to life. From here, we took feedback from our teammates and made minor edits to get a final project we were all happy with. Overall, this project was a success and an amazing opportunity to work on a large scale undertaking while working as a team and hitting a deadline.

Promotions
As the Marketing lead I was in charge of making promotional materials including videos, while also running the Instagram account, creating posts, reels and stories.
Geneva was a key member of the INTRO 2021 production team who brought with her bright ideas and took on any challenge that came her way head on with great composure.
Geneva took on the role of Marketing/PR Lead for INTRO, planning our Instagram posts and highlights throughout the months leading up to the show, conducting behind the scenes footage of all major promo shoots to keep our audience anticipating the release of the show, all staying consistent with the aesthetic and feel of the event.
On top of this, Geneva handled the logistics of scheduling the fashion film with pristine detail, taking into account all shot types, location scouting as well as figuring out our transportation situation for the team. Even whilst during a strict lockdown, Geneva was able to be flexible and problem solve with ease to accommodate a fast-changing changing landscape. She shot the film over the course of 3 days with a clear plan in mind of what the team was looking for, being very open to feedback from the group whilst editing the final cut and working with the team to ensure everyone was happy with the outcome.
Geneva’s hard work and determination to make the show possible gave us the motivation and inspiration to keep pushing throughout all the uncertainty of the lockdown, she showed immense leadership skills and we all knew that we were in good hands with her.
